WE ARE THE Rangers
More than football — shaping players, inspiring communities, and building futures.
About KL Rangers
Our Journey • Our Passion • Our Identity
KL Rangers FC was founded in 2018 by YB Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad with a vision to use football as a platform to unite communities and uplift youth. Originally known as Setiawangsa Rangers, the club rebranded in 2025 as Kuala Lumpur Rangers, reflecting our growth, ambitions, and commitment to representing the heart of the nation’s capital.
Today, KL Rangers is more than a football club — we are a family. From grassroots academies to competitive leagues, we nurture local talent, foster sportsmanship, and create real pathways for youth development.
Football for us is not just a game, but a movement to inspire the next generation and build a lasting legacy for Kuala Lumpur and beyond.
